Murder Victim's Child Now An Adult Criminal

The crime: in the early 1980's, a U.S. Marine was brutally murdered by his wife and one of her many lovers.  She was convicted,as was her lover,  and the baby she and her husband had together was raised by her husband's family after the murder.  The movie A Matter Of Justice starring Patty Duke and Martin Sheen is based on the crime.

Unfortunately, that little girl who lost her father at such a young age has turned out much like her mother.  She has a record 10 miles long, and has been convicted of various crimes, though nothing quite so heinous as her mother's crime.  But close.  Here is a blog that updates the sad life of Terrah Christine Brown.

She really didn't have much of a chance at a normal life anyway. Even though she was raised by her dad's family, it's not like that was heaven on earth. Granted, it was way better than being raised by her whacko mom and all the jackwagons her mama brought into the home. But her grandparents were very very consverative, and ULTRA religious... especially her grandmother. And her grandmother badmouthed her mother every chance she got to that little girl... so you know that messed with her also.

I don't know, man. Everyone has to stand up for their own behavior at some point, and I had a messed up childhood is wearing a little thin at this point.            evileye

I don't know how the spacing on that got screwed up and I got some hate mail,so let me explain myself.

I don't think EVERY kid should wind up on death row for making a mistake that should be kept in family court and punished as a juvenile. But think about it. There have been crimes comitted by minors that deserve to be tried as adults, and usually they are capital cases. I'm talking about premeditated murder cases. Like the Greg Smart case. Those kids not only did they plan it ahead of time, they took a life and ended a family. And they were minors when it happened. Some of them deserve the death penalty, some deserve life without parole.

Just think about it. What if a kid had murdered someone in your family? Had planned it out,had intent and accomplices? Now,I'm not gonna go on with the haters, that's a no win and I've said how I feel. But every case is different and I think that should be taken into consideration as well.              evileye
