Hey BRITTNEY,this is MY board and I'll shoot my mouth off whenever I feel like it.You dig? I promised Marissa I'd find that document and I'm kinda funny that way,that if I make a promise I will keep it.Don't push me.I have lost my Mom and my Grandmother within one month and I'm not in a particularly friendly mood.

I could be wrong, but I seem to remember at least some of that questionaire being covered in the book, Overkill, by Lynn Riddle.  (I would have checked and confirmed that, but unfortunately I'm in the middle of a renovation and a lot of my books are packed away right now.)

Sad case, and my fervent hope is that Ms. Lambert never sees the light of day.  Someone that manipulative needs to be locked away from society forever.  (I cannot imagine what the judge who temporarily freed her was thinking.)

Laurie Show's mother found her daughter with a stab wound to the back and a slit throat. She was bleeding severly from the neck wound but still concious. When paramedics arrived on the scene they found the teenager still alive and bleeding out from a neck wound. She then went into V-Fib (not suprising with severe hemorrhagic shock) and no further attenmpts at resusciation was made??????

Why didn't they put pressure on the bleeding vessels and transported her immediately from the scene to the ED? Technically they could have stopped the bleeding with a mosquito forceps and started either NaCl-0.9% or Lactated Ringer's and transported her and maybe, again I say "MAYBE" she sould have survived?

I am relly troubled with this issue as to why wasnt more done if she was still alive

From my understanding Laurie was already deceased when the EMT's arrived on the scene. She had lost  too much blood to have survived,had a rope tied around her neck and was so severely slashed across the throat she was close to decapatation. They did not attempt to revive her because she had no pulse at the time. They did not neglect their duties and leave her half alive to suffer. Even Hazel Show,who worked in the medical field did not try to revive her,instead spent her last moments talking with Laurie as best she could instead of revival efforts. I believe she realized Laurie was going to die and tried to find out if Laurie knew and could tell her what had happened.
