OJ Simpson granted new evidencery hearing in Las Vegas Robbery Case

Let's see if I can break it down. Simpson is claiming that his attorney at the time,Yale Galanter was inefective counsel in his 2008 trial in the armed robbery in Las Vegas. Simpson, along with several associates [ who were supposedly armed] broke into a Las vegas hotel suite, claiming there were items there that he had been robbed of and was going to retrieve his possessions. He claimed he had no knowledge anyone was armed.

His hearing is set for May 13.He says [I'm having a hard time not laughing here] he was denied a plea deal that would have allowed him to serve his time and already have been released,had Galanter given him the plea deal.

Yep. Oh kay,OJ. At this time he is serving 33 years for armed robbery and theft. Let's see how this nonense plays out. I can't even believe the court is going to do this. Give me a break.I'm mentally preparing myself for the flood of "OJ didn't do it" emails. This should be just swell.     evileye

What is my problem with OJ Simpson. You know,I really like it when people make me think and question me because I crave knowledge and insight I might not have. Belive it or not,I'm not a TOTAL jerkhole [Navywife's favorite word biggrin ] and I do have empathy for victims everywhere and their surviving families.

NOONE deserves that!!!

So having said THAT,this was on my Google homepage this morning. Sometimes I think people are just strait up looney tunes. There isn't any other explanation for it. Basically this guy is claming to be involved in the murder of Nicole and Ron. Just give me a freakin break already!!!!! Good grief. What is wrong with this man? [other than the obvious?]

CNN-The documentary,"My Brother The Serial Killer" is set to air on WED. [tomorrow] where presumably we will be able to hear the evidence as to the guilt or innocence of the man who claims he is the real killer of Nicole brown and Ron Goldman.Please remember this man is on death row and frankly doesn't have a heck of a lot to lose with this whole fiasco.

*sigh*

Shot and produced by Investigation Discovery,I usually have faith in this channel and respect their work as being not too trashy and exploitative. We'll see. I'll be watching and hope you guys do too. We can come back and have it out,throw it down. I have gotten some great email about OJ since I started this thread but I'll save them untill after the show.

Get your safety goggles on,ladies and gents. The fecal matter's gonna hit the fan! Take it from this Rocket Grrrl.....we're dealing with a whole new crackerbox full of crazy.

PS:Forgot to say [for the bajillionth time Kim Goldman is my hero.]

I only saw part of that documentary and it was creepy. But the part about him saying he killed Ron and Nicole I missed. I don't believe it anyway. More crap from the OJ is innocent idiots.
