Child found drunk, man charged with endangerment

A man has been charged with child endangerment after a baby in his care was found drunk. 37 year old Juan Reyes was passed out on the living room couch while children left to his care were wandering around the trailer where he was babysitting them.

In Patchougue,New York, officials were investigating a family court case when the child was spotted inside a trailer swaying, lethargic and having trouble standing. When authorities went inside the child smelled strongly of alcohol and had a level of 0.094. The legal limit in that state is 0.08.

At the time, the parents were at the hospital giving birth to another child.

This is one of those cases that makes you wonder why people keep having kids when they can hardly care for the ones they already have.

Amen Anna that is very disturbing to say the least.... the child should be taken out of the home... As i'm sure many children should be taken out of several different homes a couple I can think of , off the top of my head.... Children learn what they live... My God how terribly sad......
