Charles Manson gives His First Print Interview In Over 20 Years

Before I say anything, I know some of you guys think I'm obsessed on Rolling Stone magazine LMAO. That's just not right! I've been reading it since high school and I fully agree with Kurt Cobain who wore a t-shirt for his cover shot that said, "Corperate magazines still suck." But I digress.

Charles Manson gave an interview to Erik Hedergaard in the December 5,2013 issue of Rolling Stone, his first in over 20 years. At 79, I expected him to be an even more senile mess than he was back in the day. Let's face it: he was a few tacos short of a combo platter. But what he was good at was manipulation. And in the interview he proceeds to do exactly that: manipulate everyone he comes into contact or tries to, in any case. He still has followers and a young woman by the name of Star who has some delusion of marrying Manson and spends all her days taking care of Charlie's business. For her part, she doesn't get what the fuss is about Sharon Tate. In her words,"Sharon Tate would have been nothing without Charlie!"

He has some disturbing thoughts and on several occasions during the interview, the writer stops repeating his thoughts because he can't believe someone could think of doing such things. Charlie is alive and well and beaming out his particular brand of psychosis to his followers everywhere. Don't say you weren't warned.

So, I don't know why I didn't post a link to that article. I'm looking for it. In any case, this subject has come up again. The article featured a young woman named Star [ Afton Burton ] who said she planned to marry Charles Manson as soon as she was able.

Yeah. I don't know either. Save your email.

CNN is reporting that Manson has filed the first paperwork needed to legally wed this young lady [she's 25] and she goes into detail about how she's Manson's wife and he's her husband. Please remember this a discussion board not objective journalism. Anyone can say anything they want, as long as they can get it by the swear filter and it goes by our community standard.

Having said that, Axl Rose said it best about these two: "You're crazy."

There will always be sick people (manson) and dumbasses (star) in the world. Can't believe this old fart is even still alive. Hope he drops dead soon.

I heard. They can renew it. IDK WTH. This whole thing is stupid. And her name's Afton Burton. Star. Whatever she is, is what you said LOL!!!

So.....there was an update to all that foolishness that the only reason Afton Burton wanted to marry Manson was so she could get possession of his remains to display them for profit after his death. I didn't post that because even though it was being reported by several really good media outlets, a couple were shady and it seemed really dumb.

NOW the mother of Afton Burton has spoken out publicly about this and I have to post this because this is too insane. Has the world gone crazy or WTF?

LOS ANGELES  A Los Angeles judge has denied parole for a former Charles Manson follower who has been imprisoned for more than 40 years for two murders.

Superior Court Judge William C. Ryan on Wednesday upheld the governor's reversal of a parole board decision last year to release Bruce Davis.

Davis was convicted in the 1969 slayings of musician Gary Hinman and stuntman Donald "Shorty" Shea.

When I saw yesterday that Bruce Davis was denied parole for his killings of Gary Hinman and Shorty Shea, I did a search to see if I could find that piece that I started this thread for, the one that contained the interview that Manson gave Erik Hedegaard where we first learn about his relationship with Star aka Afton Burton, and all the other nonsense that has been discussed since it came out in November 2013. I neglected to link it at the time, not sure why I messed that up on y'all, but I did find it. Here it is for your consideration.     evileye

CNN: Charles Manson family associate Bruce Davis has been given 4 recommendations for release from the California Board of Parole. Next, a review board must approve the action in a 120 day review period and then it goes before California Gov. Jerry Brown, who must approve the action before Davis can be freed. 

The action has been denied 4 times since 2012.
