From Fox News: Dave Holloway, father of missing teen Natalee Holloway, has returned to the island of Aruba where Natalee went missing in 2005 while on a high school graduation trip, with what is being called "new evidence" in the case of his missing and presumed deceased daughter.
Natalie was just 18 when she disappeared on May 30.2005, leaving a bar called Carlos 'N' Charlie's with Joran Van Der Sloot. She was never seen alive again. Island resident Jurrien de Jong said in an interview he gave to the syndicated TV show, "Inside Edition". that he saw Joran carrying Natalee and slamming her body into the ground. He claimed he knew Natalee was dead.
I feel terribly for these parents. I absolutely can't imagine their pain. Here are a couple of links for you. The story from Fox news, Natalee's Wikipedia page and a teaser for a Greta Van Sustern documentary on Natalee's case.
NYDN/MSN: Aruba authorities debunk the claim of a man who says he saw Joran Van Der Sloot chasing and then body slamming Natalee Holloway in 2005.
Giving an interview to the tv show, "Inside Edition" [I know, a bastion of journalistic integrity] Jurrien de Jong claimed to have seen Natalee being killed by Van Der Sloot and not coming forward before now because he was involved in illegal activities himself. I don't know if any of that is even valid, some things have no statute of limitations but we're talking about a different country here and I don't know anything about the laws there.
Having said that, according to the authorities, the site this cat claims to have seen this happen was not under construction at the time he says he witnessed this happening, which would have been the scene of the crime. So, basically they are calling him a liar.
CNN has updated the Natalee Holloway story with the info from the guy who says he saw Natalee being killed in the construction site.
Dave Holloway, father of Natalee, has said he was in that place and there was construction, but didn't offer any proof of how he knew that. I hate to speculate, and I've never been there. I didn't write about this. The story says that if you get results from Google Earth, it shows that at that time there could have been construction there.
Here's your link. Lots of good information, don't know if any of that is true.
