Oklahoma Men Missing After Attending Concert On May 22,2015

Oklahoma: Two men have gone missing after attending the concert "Rocklahoma" on May 22, 2015 near the town of Pryor, OK. Ben Baber age 20 and Cody Parrick also 20, attended the festival on May 22. Cody's ticket was scanned, according to NBC reports and neither man has been seen or heard from since that night. They had not been camping there and had planned to drive back and forth to the event. They were last seen driving a 2005 silver Pontiac Montana with liscense plate B8E23.

There has been rainfall in that area that caused some difficulty with search. If there is any information or sighting of either man, or the vehicle, please contact the OSBI at 405-848-6724 or the Mayes County Sheriff's office at 918-825-3844.

It is insanely easy to get lost in a crowd that size and even easier for an accident to happen. I've been to so many events like this over the years and I have the exact same shirt that Cody is wearing in the Rob Zombie photo below. It struck a nerve in me that I can't shake.  If I can do anything, I will. Even if posting this small message will do one thing, it will be worth it. In life we all have to look out for each other or we are lost. Please help these families find their loved ones. Thank you.

I saw this information on the Facebook page for Cody and Ben and I thought I'd re-post it here for anyone who might be interested. This is kind of a timeline of what has happened so far:

-Cody bought the tickets that were scanned at 6:11 on Friday, 5/22/15
- They haven't had contact since Cody's stepdad dropped him off to meet Ben at 2
- No Gps
- Cody's phone has been going to voicemail since Saturday
- No activity on phones or bank records since Friday, 5/22/15

Captain Howell (Mayes Co. Sherriff)
- Friday, 5/22, was the last time family has heard from them and last confirmation of there whereabouts
- They are treating this case as a missing persons report because it is out of character for Cody and Ben
- They have BOLOs out
- Hard evidence and viable leads are getting thoroughly checked by Mayes County
- They don't believe "one of the bands" had "a hand in it"
- The water areas (creeks, rivers, etc) around Mayes County have been checked, but they still have to wait for the waters to recede
- Horseshoe Bend has been checked numerous times
- Debit and credit cards have no activity
- Their phones have not pinged and are turned off

- 918-825-3820 is an anonymous tip line with an answering service set up
- 2 OSBI agents are assisting, as well as Okmulgee County, Okfuskee County, and Creek Nation
- Still releasing water up north so there is still flooding
- Requested to contact Mayes County Sheriffs Office ahead of time to let them know of search group wanting to come out

Addition Information:
- Both Ben and Cody did make it to Rocklahoma
- The last known sighting was at 7:47PM, Friday, 5/22/15, at the KMOD booth when Cody was photographed with Cornflake
- An account has been set up at Mabrey Bank in agreement with both boys' moms. Money is to be used towards official searches and anything else they need to find the boys.

Contact Ronda Mall of the  Weleetka branch of the Mabry Bank under the account name 'Team Cody and Ben' 918-366-9050  918-756-7910 for details to make a donation

Thank you

This is an image of the plate that is on the van that Ben Baber drives. It is an Oklahoma plate and from my understanding, that vehicle has yet to be found.

Any information should be passed on to the OSBI who has taken over this case.

Thank you.

From TulsaWorld.com: The mother and a cousin of Benjamin Baber expressed their belief Wednesday that Baber and his best friend, Cody Parrick, are alive.

Volunteers and various law enforcement officers have searched flooded areas along U.S. 69 between Chouteau and Wagoner several times. On Wednesday, with water having receded about 2 feet during the last three days, there was another flyover search the U.S. 69 area, and civilian drones were deployed, Baber's cousin Julie Pendley said.

However, Pendley and Babers mother, Donna Berryman, seem adamant in their opinion that the missing men are not in the water, which at one time had risen to within a few feet of the U.S. 69 roadside. The highway is not outfitted with guardrails.

Berryman said Baber is an inexperienced driver who got his driver's license only a few months ago and never before had traveled any significant distance without at least one of his parents.

She said she had been unaware of her son's plan to attend Rocklahoma. From Okmulgee, the trip to Pryor is about 80 miles.

Rocklahoma is the furthest Ben has ever been without me or his dad, Berryman said. We used to live (near Weleetka). The furthest he had ever drove was to Okmulgee (a trip of about 30 miles). He drove with his dad one time to Tulsa and back. Thats his experience of driving.

Praying for Ben and Cody and their friends and family

I joined the Facebook group to support the family and friends of these two young men and I honestly have come to care about them as I've learned a little about them. Some of the people have been really sweet and funny. I am touched by how many have gone out of their way to come together as a community to search for these two. Yes, I know it's been two weeks. Yes, I know it's a long time. But I wouldn't give up on my child. Why would I give up on someone else's? These are good, kindhearted folks. There is an extended search being planned for tomorrow, Saturday, July 6, 2015.

The following is information regarding. Thank you

There will be an extensive search conducted tomorrow that will focus on US 69, North and South of Muskogee, and all possible routes to Okmulgee. This is a search that is being organized and led by law enforcement. We need numerous civilian volunteers to help in this extensive search. We ask that any individuals who desire to join this search to arrive at the command post which will be located in the parking lot of the Creek Nation Casino just south of Muskogee on US 69 no later than 8 am. The family would like to thank all the law enforcement agencies, and our private investigators who have made this organized search possible.

If there any other law enforcement officers or agencies who haven't been contacted, but would like to aid in this search, please contact either the OSBI or the Creek Nation Lighthorse Police. We can use all the help we can obtain to do a proper and thorough search and to help conduct the search in a timely and safe manner. We appreciate every single person and agency that has and will continue to help us find Cody and Ben.

If you plan to volunteer for tomorrow's search we ask the following:

Wear bright colored shirts so that you can be as visible as possible, as the traffic on these highways is quite heavy and can be dangerous.

Wear comfortable and practical footwear, and bring extra pairs of socks.

Insect repellent and sun screen.

Water and Gatorade will be provided, but anyone willing to bring more would be greatly appreciated. Stay hydrated and take rest breaks when needed.

There will be a briefing for all volunteers prior to the beginning of the search, and volunteers will be assigned specific areas to search. PLEASE FOLLOW ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY LAW ENFORCEMENT! We do not need anyone getting injured or worse, and its imperative we follow these instructions for the search to ensure both safety of all individuals, and to complete a thorough and proper search.

DO NOT WALK OR WADE INTO ANY BODIES OF WATER!

If you have certain resources you believe can be useful, please email klirwater@gmail.com and they will be able to tell you if these are resources we need or can use. Thank you.

This thing has made my stomach hurt for like, the last two days. Usually I make Navywife do this but she's got issues LOL and nowdays it's mostly me here. I did get a call from Jill yesterday. I think she saw this and was like, WTF! I can't imagine not being able to find my kid.

Last night I managed to get myself on Metal Injection Live [for those of you non metal heads, it is a radio show that has 131K listeners and plays the best headbanging ever] and they retweeted me all over God's planet. So I went to bed happy. I am helping a friend write his victim impact statement for his murdered friend so I felt like I had a productive day.

But I woke up to bad news. Cody Parrick and Ben Baber were both found dead. I saw one report saying it was being called a weather related accident, but another that didn't say anything of the sort. So I don't know. I kind of thought the same thing. The flooding there was crazy, I myself have never seen flooding like that and my state doesn't border major water. We have to drive to the lake, Lake Powell was our spot. Lake Mead if you want spring break.

Please remember the families in your prayers and I'll repost donation information. Thank you
