According to Fox 6 Now/Crimefeed, The unidentified mother of a 10 year old boy tracked messages from the app Kik, because her child's account was linked to hers.
Lance Kyer,30, traveled from Indiana to Ohio, meeting up with one 13 year old boy and planning to meet up with the 10 year old. The mom then posed as the child and made his age known and the offender had no problem with that and asked if he wanted to meet up with him some time. She called police and had him arrested.
This is awesome. She possibly saved her child's life and saved him from a a dangerous man. Pay attention people. This is how it's done.
