I can already feel the regret I'm going to have for bringing this up but an email lead me to a new book by the infamous and long discussed Lisa Michelle Lambert who, with her boyfriend Lawrence Yunkin and their friend Tabitha Buck were convicted of the murder of 16 year old Laurie Show in December 1991.
For those of you who weren't around back in the day, Lisa murdered Laurie after her boyfriend raped Laurie and she found out that she was carrying his child. While she was about 7 months pregnant, the three of them killed Laurie in her home while Laurie's mother was lured away by someone claiming to be a counselor from Laurie's school. So, about that book....
Co-authored by a lawyer named David Brown and published by a small firm, "Love, Murder and Corruption in Lancaster County: My Story" came out in Feb, and while I don't know if the law extends to her not being able to make money off publishing a book about her crime, I'm not paying for this thing. If I can get an advance copy I'll read it but I'm not holding my breath. Ms. Lambert, now 40, still maintains that her "blond adonis" of a boyfriend who is also a "pedophile" is responsible. It goes into her homosexual relationship and how she thinks that has worked against her in being denied an appeal, and how she thought she was pregnant by a guard and thought she could have the baby and smuggle it out to her mom. Yeah.
