MSNBC is reporting that Patsy Ramsey had finally lost her battle with ovarian cancer. She was diagnosed first in 1993 and had 2 relapses,each time being treated and getting better.
The Ramseys battle with the police is legendary,we all know what they were up against.They were tried and convicted in the public and excorated in the press.
If Patsy knew something she wasn't telling,it is forever lost.
I'm torn: my analytical mind is screaming she died knowing something!!!! My regular brain is sad at her passing but happy she is with little Jon Benet at last.
I honestly send my condolances to the family.On August 6,Jon Benet would have been sweet 16.Now maybe they can spend that day together.
I don't suppose we will ever really know what happened to Jon Benet. My mother, whose name was also Patsy, died of ovarian cancer in 1980. I was always impressed by Patsy Ramsey's courage in fighting this terribly deadly disease. I never believed that she or John were involved in John Benet's death, but I agree with Anna...I think that Patsy did know something about what happened...even if it was just the ineptitude of the Boulder police.
How could she have not known anything? I just don't understand how she could have been dressed and in full make up at 5:30 in the morning,getting ready to board a plane and then all of a sudden her daughter is missing? Maybe I am more of a control freak than she was but I would have had my kids up and ready to go before I was dressed.
Whetever she knew is gone.And I don't think we'll ever know what happened.
