Introduce Yourself

Hi everyone! Since we have so many new people coming into the board I thought that it might be nice to have a place where we can introduce ourselves and let the new people get to know us a little better. It also lets us get to know our new board members ... so if you feel comfortable ... introduce yourself! Please don't give out ANY personal information except your first name (if you want to) or whatever name you want to be called by.

Well, since I started this thread I thought that it was only fair that I start off by introducing myself. My name is Jill and between Anna and I, we keep Justice Junction going. Without Anna, I really don't think I would have made it through the last two years, she's the best friend that I have ever had or could ever wish for, so if you see her on the board, give her a howdy-she's a great girl!

Anyway, about me, I'm married (for almost 20 years) and have five children, yes indeed I said five! My oldest will be 18 in October and my youngest will be 1 ALSO in October.

I started Justice Junction because of Cross Country Bank and their illegal charges and unethical harrassment. It grew faster than I ever imagined it would. I was watching tv one night when I watched the story of 3 year old PJ and his murder. I was angered and sadened all at the same time. The story made me cry and I decided to do something about it-so I wrote the story on PJ (you can find the story under Innocence Lost)

Since then we've gotten thousands of emails regarding unsolved murders, missing persons, I even got an email from PJ's mom thanking me for telling his story, that one made me cry. I printed it out and have it hanging next to my computer so I'm always reminded why I hang on to Justice Junction, why I fight so hard to let the voices of those who can no longer speak be heard. I suppose you could say that's me, a crusader to the end.

So ... it's nice to see everyone and nice to meet everyone. I'll try to check in every few days and reply to any new posts. Everyone take care!

Jill

Wow Jill, thank you for the kind words. Without you in my life I really wouldn't know what to do with myself:with Justice Junction I have a purpose I never thought I would find. You are my friend, mentor and inspiration,I really mean that.

So,about me. I am Anna, also known as annarocket! I'm 40 years old, engaged to a wonderful man and I have a 17 year old daughter. I was a single mother for a long time, and I told myself that when my daughter was 18 and out of my house,I was going to go back to school to study forensic science. I have been fascinated by criminology for years and wanted to wait till my daughter was gone to give it all my time and energy.

I was working at a retail clothing store called Hot Topic when I started to have health problems. I was exhausted,I had a hard time eating, sick to my stomach continually.I didn't know what was wrong but I was losing weight and after many tests and doctor visits I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in October of 2001.I was so ill,I ahd to quit working. My dream of school was put on hold and I started feeling like I would never get to realize my dream. Then I realized I could do something:I could write about crime.I have always kept a journal and been a writer. I sent Jill a story I had written called "The Evil Within" about Paul and Karla Homolka and that's where we are now,I am a writer. I have really been thankful for Justice Junction,it has helped me to realize my dream of making a difference. I love tis site and it has given me something to work for,to live for. Without it,I don't know what I'd be doing. Even though I am very ill,I have many blessings to count and every day I remember that I have helped to make a difference with my writing here at Justice Junction.

Well, seeing as how I am one of those "new people" who have recently discovered Justice Junction. I thought I would take a momenet to introduce myself.

My name is Christopher and I am 39, single and deeply committed to exposing governmental corruption at all levels. Unfortunatley I have learned that the odds existing, demonstrate that in comparison to what exists, what is exposed will be minimal. Though I do not believe this has to be the case.

Up until about two years ago I proudly served as an Investigator in a cross section of both civil and criminal matters. Sometimes using my nursing college education to investigate medical matters.

About 14 years ago I began studding constitutional law, in part to find out what rights I had that government officials are not willing to tell you. And I quickly learned that an educated citizen is a citizen government officials tend to deeply resent. Because in their education it becomes far more difficult for government officials to look like they have legitimacy when handing the citizen a load of crap.

It is truly amazing what rights we do have and what rights we have secretly lost by the hands of both lawmakers and the Court system.

Now none of this is to say that I am a legal expert for I am not, nobody is. In fact our legal system is intentionally designed so that there is no one person who can claim the status of being an expert in absolute terms. For not only is the law unto itself an ever changing and expanding subject. But the checks and balances in place ensure that there is no one person making all the decisions without having the opportunity to have their decision double checked.

My greatest frustration comes when the people do not exercise their voice in lawfull manner to rise against the governmental corruption that exists and in so many ways is destroying our great Country. We tend to air our complaints about so many issues, but confronting corruption head on is rarely among the issues contested by the people in an organized and lawful manner. And yet, if you ask people what they think of politicians and government officials their general reply is to say they are liars and crooks.

If I could leave this world having achieved one thing I would want it to be helping people learn that they can accomplish far more than they might think they can. By this I mean changing our way of life and governmental processes by being deeply committed and organized. Success comes one step at a time, true enough, but it begins with the realization that one person can make a difference, yet, when actively and visably supported by a group of people - there's no stopping the positive changes that can occur. For it is not our Constitution or our American Flag that makes our Country so great - but rather the American human spirit in all its many flames of diversity. And controversy is not necessarily a bad thing, for if not for controversy we would not have many of the rights, liberties and privileges that we have today.

Hi Jillybean and new-found friends. Just found Justice Junction and couldn't wait to register and introduce myself! I'm from E. Ohio and am obsessed with Crime Investigations. I may be a little forward and brash at times, but pay no mind as I know the rules and would not purposely want to offend anyone.

Am asking for your patience until I get "the feel" of my new home!

Thank you and hope to hear from you all.

Hi Donna,

Thanks for the welcome..I'm so sorry for your lost...My Uncle Danny was murdered years ago...He was a police officer and on his way home he stopped in a bar he always went to after work..A man was robbing the bar and Uncle Danny didn't know what was going on but, tapped this man on the shoulder..He was shot in the face..point blank and died immediately...The killer of my Uncle served only 5years...This idiot wrote to my Grandmother and told her that if My Uncle wouldn't have touched him he wouldn't have shot him...This man later held up another place, but was shot and killed by the owner of the store...I don't know if justice was served or not,but somehow my family had some kind of closure...We will never forget him and miss him...I hope that someday the person(s) involved with your friend's murder are brought to justice...It so hard to get on with life when there is not closure...Believe me! All I can say is that I feel your pain and know that talking to anyone who will listen can help...I also worked at a victims assistance office and talked to MANY victims...All of them come from different places and backgrounds..but,have one thing in common..crime affected their lives...Please updated me ,and let me know how YOUR doing..Take Care,Lisa

Hello. I'm Julie. I am a single mother of two. I found justice junction through a friend in my search for justice for my daughter. I am encouraged by all of your zeal for justice and change. I have seen so many "loose ends" and "dropped balls" and the perpetrator gets nothing! I fear for the other children who are being sexually assaulted. In my daughters case, it's her father, which makes it extreemly difficult to prosecute, despite DNA, her testimony, polygraphs, medical reports, expert child psycologist...   I want my daughter to heal and have a good life. I'm fighting this every day. I know somehow I will be an advocate for other children who get brushed under the carpet.Right now I am just focused on keeping her safe, so many stops and not enough help. It's people like him that have sexual sickness that become killers to hide their deeds. I appreciate any help and thank you all for you share in the fight for justice
